The Moonshooter

When I first heard the Les Brown saying "Shoot for the moon and if you miss you'll still end up in the stars." it immediately became one of my favorites. Why? It got me to thinking...which happens to be one of my favorite hobbies, by the way...of my goals.. The first thought that came to mind was, when aiming at a goal that seems as far away as the moon, even if I miss the target, I'll be higher than I would have been if I hadn't tried.

That's cool...as far as it goes. Do i have clearly defined goals, I I wondered? Hmmm. What if... I boarded a plane on the east coast and I was certain that I wanted to go to Los Angeles on the west coast. Suddenly, I heard the pilot's voice announcing on the overhead speakers, "I have good news and bad news. I'll give you the bad news first. This plane won't be landing in LA (the moon). The good news is that you'll still be somewhere on the west coast (the stars). I want to thank you all for traveling Uncertainty Airlines with us. Our motto is, "If you don't know where you're going, any plane will get you there."

Now that I've decided where I want to go, I'm at the controls and learning how to fly my own plane. The destination is far...but I'm looking forward to the fun I'll be having along the way. By the way, I've named my plane Certainty cause I thought it was kinda catchy. Where am I headed? It's a Secret. Hey, Victoria has her's ..and I have mine. LOL Welcome aboard.

Hey, Sara. This blogging stuff is fun.
Shhhhhh. John, you dummy, don't type so loud. You forgot to turn off the mic. Everone can hear you.
