All I Need Is A Miracle...

What are the odds that a 72 year old guy would be listening to 'soft rock' on his laptop while doing his 'house-elf stuff' around the house? What are the odds that the words to one song in particular would jump out and grab his attention while he was two rooms away? What are the odds that he would stop and look up the song on YouTube and find this video right off the bat? What are the odds that he would watch the video from beginning to end and get a 'message' from God knows where? Which is my point exactly...that's where 'miracles' come from...but they work wonders!

I'm having more fun just being who I am the trying to be who I'm not...or who someone else thinks 'I should be.' It's never worked for me. That 'old guy' sure knows what it's like to 'need a miracle' and just like all else in his life, they show up 'on time and in a way that is most unexpected' most of the time.

I've stopped worrying about the odds against anything and focus on the 'for'. I'm curious if the guy in the video saw it for what it was...or passed the dog off as a ...'coincidence'. Who knows?

All I know is that everything under my nose a miracle and whether I choose to see it that way or not is my choice. Different choices simply produce different results. Everything happens for a 'reason.' And I have fun writing about this stuff. It's another miracle. I CAN.

This is the very reason I don't believe in coincidence.
EVERYthing happens for a reason. We don't always see or know the reason but there is a purpose behind every God given miracle! :)

It only happens in the movies....???

I've found out (through a source I won't divulge...'cause I forgot who it was), that I could watch TV and movies for free on Hulu.  Now, with the price being with my 'range of affordabilty', I decided to check it out.  At first I went through the 'learning stage'.  I had to, like most other sites I come across, learn to navigate.  Since boating is not one of my skills, it was NOT smooth sailing at first. What's a...serious side?

Once in awhile, I stop trying to develop my own 'character' (which is like trying to stop a flood with my bare hands), and work on developing 'fictional characters'. So I go to the my Mind Gym for a workout...it's fun there and a great way to exercise. Mental gymnastics? Dumbells included? Gosh, I'd be right at home. Anyhoo, I took a writing class awhile back (I can see 'disbelief' written all over your face), and worked with fantasy characters like: Mortimer P Snodgrass, the fly on the wall, etc. I won't elaborate 'cause Sylvia says once in awhile I can be a little 'over the top'. One day, I was sitting thinking (which I find is relaxing) and the idea struck me...."Why don't you try writing something 'different, dummy." My roller skating sweater...

     Now I'm at a crossroads.  Should I toss my team sweater... or get out the sewing basket and stitch up the seam and sew a few buttons on?   Most guys would toss it 'cause the ones I know don't have the time to bother or the skill necessary to accomplish that 'feat'.  And girls probably would be easier than guys (I'm just guessing at that one) to vote for the garbage can if they knew how long I had it.  1979?  34 years?       But when it's washed, my cardigan looks like new.  I've worn it every year I had it and it's been a 'good friend' to me when I've been cold...which is part of my nature.  Brrrrrrrr.  Originally, the dark blue sweater had my name stitched on the front and a patch announcing 'King's Skate Country' on the back.  All the members of the roller skating team had one for the occasions we had to separate the sheep from the group that weren't part of the team.  Did I just refer to myself as a...sheep?  Oh
